Job Description: Accounts and Administration Assistant

- Salary: £23,000.00 – £24,000.00

Role Overview
The Accounts and Administration Assistant will play a key role in supporting the day-to-day financial and administrative functions of the business. This is a varied role requiring excellent organisational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities
Accounts Support
- Assist with accounts payable and receivable processes
- Reconcile bank statements and client accounts
- Process invoices, receipts, and payments
- Maintain accurate financial records and filing systems
- Support month-end and year-end financial reporting
- Liaise with clients and suppliers regarding account queries
Administrative Duties
- Provide general administrative support to the team
- Manage incoming calls, emails, and correspondence
- Maintain office supplies and equipment
- Assist with document preparation, data entry, and filing
- Support property management tasks such as issuing tenancy agreements, notices, and correspondence
- Schedule appointments, meetings, and inspections

Skills & Experience
- Previous experience in an accounts or administrative role (property sector experience desirable)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
- Experience with accounting software (e.g., Xero, Sage, QuickBooks) is an advantage
- Strong organisational and time management skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail

- GCSEs (or equivalent) in Maths and English
